Nunnelee won't Debate

January 27, 2012

See Tupelo Tea Party ad in Lee County Courier: Lee County Courrier Ad. Alan Nunnelee would debate if he could defend his record. He hasn't been a conservative, and debates would expose what he's done in Washington. He joined all of the House leadership's compromises with Barack Obama that have left Obama's big government in place. He raised the debt ceiling by an enormous amount with no real spending cuts in return (only promises of spending growth reductions years out), funded Planned Parenthood, and left ObamaCare intact. The federal government will spend more this year than last and incur another $1 trillion plus deficit. The votes he's campaigning on were meaningless votes. They knew they weren't going anywhere and were done for campaign puposes. The people of North Mississippi understand the difference. The real conservatives in the House voted against these big government compromises that Alan voted for. Alan's not a real conservative. North Mississippi deserves a conservative fighter in Congress who will fight to stop big government and return to the limited government our Founders gave us. That's what I'll do if the voters of North Mississippi elect me to the U.S. House of Representatives.
