Ross Fires First Shot in Battle for MS-1

January 16, 2012

Eupora, MS – Republican Henry Ross, challenging incumbent Alan Nunnelee to represent North Mississippi in Congress, fired the first shot in the battle for the March 13th primary election.

Radio ads have appeared on 18 different stations throughout North Mississippi highlighting why Ross feels that Alan Nunnelee has not done the job that voters sent him to Washington to do.

The ads include such criticism of Nunnelee’s record including Ross stating, “Whether Barack Obama is President or not, North Mississippi needs a Congressman who will work overtime to undo Barack Obama’s Socialist Big Government and take our country back. Alan Nunnelee is a nice guy, but Alan’s voted to give Obama what he wants because he’s more afraid of backlash over shutting down the government than the threat of Obamacare.”
